St. Paul Bhavan, Phulmar

Envisaged as an expression of the social commitment of CMI St. Paul Province, Bhopal, towards the empowerment of the underprivileged sections of the society, Phulmar, 26 kms. away from Silwani, the Tehsil headquarters and 5 kms. away from Pratapgarh, is identified as a potential location to start a school for quality education. It is 161 kms. away from Bhopal, the state capital. A plot of 6.82 acres of land was purchased by the Province for this purpose under the initiative of Fr. Joseph Pariyadan during the tenure of Rev. Fr. Kurian Kachappilly, the then Provincial, on April 25, 2016. Village Phulmar is connected by all weather road from Silwani. The proposed school was planned in view of developing tribal leadership and providing quality education to the underprivileged sections of the society. Named as St. Paul School, Phulmar, the preliminary processes for the establishment of the school are initiated and FCC sisters of Delhi Province, are collaborating in its daily functioning. We also take care of the quasi-parish at Pratapgarh and its pastoral needs.
