Gadarwara is one of the Tehsils of Narsinghpur District and it comes on the way to Itarsi from Narsinghpur. Gadarwara mission was originally explored and initiated by Rev. Fr. Paul Nereparambil, the Priest-in-Charge of Kareli Mission Station, during 1999-2002. He visited Gadarwara Mission, 40 k.m from Kareli, gathered the faithful and celebrated the Holy Eucharist in the residence of Magistrate Mr. Michael Rao. Gadarwara was erected as a separate mission station on July 21, 2003 with the appointment of Rev. Fr. Varghese Kummananchery as the first Priest-in-Charge. He was staying in a rented building and started celebrating Sunday Holy Mass in the rented building. From October 2015 the mission was fully entrusted to the CMI Fathers of St. Paul Province, Bhopal. A new plot with a house was purchased on July 24, 2012 and we started celebrating Sunday Holy Mass in this new house.
